Education Update 3 19 11

Today, I was introduced to several new topics by Dennis Lundgren our teacher as well as our classmates in their article review presentations. Some of these topics include : Inspiration for presenting to others, Cell Phone usage in the classroom/school enviornment as a teaching school, wiki spaces, a quick glance at rubistar, http://www.kids-space.com/; http://www.webs.com/ create your own website; http://www.prezi.com/  for this coming weeks presentation http://www.evernote.com/; http://www.chatzy.com/ .  Todd and I planned out the inital stages of our 4th assignment and class presentation.

Class Reflection

      Today has been a new experience.  I created a new blogspot.com account using my existing gmail account, I exchanged information with my classmates/teacher, discussed where technology in schools is heading in the future, we discussed the bennefits of creating an electronic survey via surveymonkey.com & Zoomerang.com, finally, we discussed and viewed rubistar.com a rubric creating software available to us.  Individually, I assisted my classmates in setting up some of their accounts, verbally contributed several items/opinions to the class, and typed this blog/reflection entry :)
